Let’s talk about all the purchase costs a buyer needs to pay when buying an apartment, townhouse, or villa in Saranda.

Any Albanian house prices that you see no matter where, in a brochure, on the internet, or anywhere else, it’s all net prices to the vendor. The good thing in Albania is that there is no difference between buying from a developer or a secondhand property.

Properties tax bought from developers are subject to be paid only by them. There is no amount charged to the buyer except for only paying the notary which is subject to ( 0.3%). The same thing also goes when secondhand properties are bought.

For the moment, we can already see there is little or no tax if buying from a developer or from a private individual who lives in a house.
